The latest IM from Google Talk is called Chatback. It’s a widget you place on your personal site, blog, whatever and it enables you to talk to your friend, regardless if they have Google talk or not. And it pops up in a separate window, so they can leave the site and still continue the conversation. It’s a development from the regular comments and instead of posting public comments; they can now chat right back with you and have proper conversations, making your blog or personal site a more open and two-way channel.
