Widely reported amongst blogs, news and social networking sites. Yahoo is about to engage to big brother (aouch) Google and their OpenSocial. The contra mechanism to Facebook’s successfully advantage on the front. I think The New York Times has better informed sources than me, so read more there.
Yahoo’s participation “would mean that the site with the largest group of users, and with the largest base of registered users, would be joining OpenSocial,” said Charlene Li, an analyst with Forrester Research.
Not sure on Yahoo’s craze about this. But it’s interesting for sure to see how they at least finally follow the stream instead of belligerent constructing your own river.
