In An Aboslut World

Spirit manufacturer and party-booster Absolut is launching their new global official site.

From what I’ve read they’re thinking in the right directions. Coming from simple (I’m not judging here) print ads. Then making a campaign site to endorse the ad/campaign/new flavour/whatever. But now they finally managed to pulls some threads back in the office and realised that it’s print that needs to support your project online.

They’re usually very productive (and often very good) and making campaign sites, but now they want to have one main platform. One place where visitors come and experience what an Absolute world stands for. They’ve consistently sponsored different ‘cool’ and sometime peculiar profiles but always creative-souls such as Andy Warhol, Ross Bleckner etc. and now they let us – be the cool and creative ones.

They want to challenge the status quo and change how we consider things. They want to invite the general public to share their thoughts, visions or ides to what they’re view of how an absolute world would look, be or feel like.

And it’s funny – cause just as Mr K so well spotted here – it’s arguably the creating the site themselves team (I know this for a fact – the Dolphin project is one of the guys at Great Works’ brother) that have uploaded the first share of projects in order to lure others and with any luck create the snowball effect everyone dreams of.
