Ogilvy Reduce Staff Because Of Digital Evolution

Not everyone is handling the digital development well. Ask WPP owned Ogilvy Worldwide, who has to fire up to 100 employees, primarily from their New York office, as the revenue from digital doesn’t exceed their profits from traditional advertising, which they are cutting down on. Or as one executive said: "primarily because the nature of the business is changing." This is yet another set-back from th company as their departure of Andy Berndt former co-president of the New York office left in September last year for search giant Google.
